Chapter 9: Luke Wallbridge and Sarah Shepherd

Luke Wallbridge and Sarah Shepherd both grew up and married in Dorset. Luke was the son of Thomas Wallbridge and Hannah Fancy. Sarah was the daughter of William Shepherd and Elizabeth Barnes.

Luke and Sarah had a large family. After their eldest daughters both successfully emigrated to Australia, Luke and Sarah followed with the rest of the children in 1856.

Their daughter Hannah Wallbridge married Robert Henderson in Sydney and they are the next generation in this family biography.
