Sidney Noel Parry was the son of Bill and Alice Parry of Gosford, NSW. He was born in 1909 in Gosford NSW and was always known as Sid. He worked as a motor mechanic in Sydney. He married Bessie Irwin in Sydney in 1940 but the marriage did not last and they divorced in 1945. They did not have children. Sid enlisted in the RAAF in WWII and served as ground crew within Australia. They did not have children. Sid was 50 when he remarried in 1959, He married widow Gladys Maher (nee Rutledge). After Sid retired, he and Gladys moved to Laurieton on the mid-north coast of NSW. Sid died in 1996 aged 86. Gladys died in 2007 aged 95.
