These pages are side-tracks and threads that do not relate to the direct ancestry of my family. But I found them interesting, and they may provide some context to the times and conditions in which our ancestors lived.
William Charles Rigby was the brother of Edwin Rigby, one of my ancestors on the Kemp side of the family. He has no direct bearing on the family story, but he was a prominent man in his time and his story is interesting.
Bruce Ward (Bruce Leon Clive) was the youngest child of Manasseh and Madeline Ward of Gosford. He served in the Light Horse in the middle east and was discharged after being seriously injured. After his wife died, Bruce left his children in his mother's care, then was never seen again. We now know he went to live in New Zealand!
