Griffith Parry was the son of Henry and Catherine Parry. He was transported to New South Wales as a convict in 1820 where he married Mary Mustare who came free to the Colony. Mary's Irish ancestry has not yet been discovered.
Griffith and Mary lived in Windsor, the Macdonald Valley and Mangrove Creek and raised a large family. Their son Griffith Parry II appears in the next level of this family biography.
