Chapter 4: James Lewis and Susan Shaddock

James Lewis and Susan Shaddock were both convicts who arrived in New South Wales around 1800. The evidence that they were ancestors of the Parry family is somewhat circumstantial. Sarah Lewis, who features in the next level of this family biography is almost certainly the daughter of this James Lewis and he was married to Susan Shaddock. But it is less certain that Susan was Sarah's birth mother, although this is possibly the case.
